Sa’Fire aims to assist firefighters in their attempts to search for and rescue individuals and pets. Sa’Fire is a dual-module fire detection smoke detector that uses advanced thermal technology to detect the presence of people inside a burning building. By analyzing heat signatures, Sa’Fire can distinguish between the heat emitted by a fire and the heat emitted by a human body.​ In addition to providing real-time information about the presence of people inside a building, Sa’Fire also alerts emergency responders to the location of the fire and provides vital information about the layout of the building. It reduces the time firefighters spend searching for individuals, saving crucial time when rescuing people safely and efficiently while helping ensure firefighters' safety. This allows firefighters to form a plan to extinguish the fire and rescue any occupants as efficiently and safely as possible.
